Pax Christi International devotes a lot of attention to provide its members with educational material, which they can then use to introduce peace work to a larger audience.

Pax Christi promotes the concept of peace education in both formal and non-formal settings. Peace Education is a participatory process that includes teaching for and about democracy and human rights, nonviolence, social and economic justice, gender equality, environmental sustainability, disarmament, traditional peace practices, international law, and human security.

A special focus is placed on young people, who are prepared to become peacemakers in their local communities. The activities organised by and for youth involve cultural exchanges to expand the minds and horizons of young people in a faith based environment.

Pax Christi International is particularly involved in Peace Education, Youth and Inter-generational Peace Work, organising Peace Weeks, Peace services and Voluntary Peace Work.
