Pax Christi International brochure on advocacy work now published and available online
30/4/18 - Pax Christi International has published a new brochure on the advocacy work that we do. You can see the brochure by clicking here.
The brochure lists the four primary advocacy priorities of Pax Christi International, Extractives in Latin America, Nuclear Weapons Ban Treaty, Renewed Israel-Palestine Peace Process and
Nonviolence, a Style of Politics for peace. We promote nonviolent policy options instead of military ones by governments, regional and international organisations and its cost-effectiveness in sustaining peace and security at the global level.
In addition to these advocacy priorities, Pax Christi International is also addressing major crises situations – often in cooperation with other civil society organisations – through statements, letter writing, solidary messages and visits.
Furthermore, Pax Christi International organises advocacy trainings for its member and partner organisations during regional consultations.
