Nuclear Abolition Week
From 6 to 13 July, the 2013 Nuclear Abolition Week kicks off with activities across the world for a ban on nuclear weapons. This global week of action is intended to raise awareness of the unacceptable harm caused by nuclear weapons and of the urgent need for a ban treaty. During this week, supporters of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) from all around the world will take to the streets, meet with policymakers, organise public meetings and more to show their government that they expect full-fledged support for a treaty banning nuclear weapons.
There are many ways you can get involved. To sign the petition and call on your government to initiate and support negotiations for a treaty to ban nuclear weapons at the earliest possible date, click here.
