Urgent Action on DRCongo (02/09/2009)

Robert ILUNGA NUMBI, president of Pax Christi Member Organisation “Amis de Nelson Mandela pour la Défense des droits humains” (ANMDH), based in Kinshasa, was arrested on Monday 31 August 2009 by DR Congo government agents and remains in detention at this time.
Others of ANMDH were also arrested but have since been released. Pax Christi International appeals for Mr ILUNGA NUMBI's safety and his immediate release.
